Over the 4th of July, Roommate and I took on a little project. We copied Aubrey & Lindsey’s IKEA hack seen here, and made these little side tables:

Ours are almost identical to the original IKEA Rast hack, but instead of plain ring pulls, we used some fierce Lions Head Ring Pulls found here.

Also, check out the new lamp! My mom bought me this pair of antique alabaster lamps from Scott’s as a little birthday gift. I’ve been wanting a pair for a while, and they look quite nice on these bedside tables if I may say so myself.

I still haven’t made a decision on the lampshades, I was originally thinking black, gold-lined shades, but I threw these linen shades on them until then, and I actually quite like them. Maybe something like these. What do you think? Should I go black or should I stick with these?
