Sweet Mothers

As I mentioned on Friday, my mom came to visit this weekend, and she brought Marisa, my sister-in-law (that’s still weird to say, by the way). We shopped. We ate. We drank wine. It was sublime. Visiting mothers means there are all sorts of things you need to do that you wouldn’t normally. Like wash your bathmat. Mop the kitchen floor. Buy fresh flowers. And dust!

Yellow roses

I bought some pretty little roses at the grocery store, so the guest bedroom would smell pretty and less like boy. Normally the guest bedroom holds things like my Roommate’s bike and his extensive collection of UGA football memorabilia.

Yellow, African roses

Look how blue my black desk looks in the picture! Weird, huh? That’s without any photoshopping, I swear.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a little sneak peek of my guest bedroom! It was clean and nice on Friday, so I snapped a picture for y’all. And Wednesday, I’ll be posting a sweet treat I made on Sunday, so be sure to stop by.

Happy Monday!

  1. The guest bedroom was the perfect place to crash after a day of shopping with some serious shoppers! And the roses were a pleasant surprise and made everything bright and cheerie! Had a wonderful Fall weekend!
