I couldn’t get a wider shot of the guest bedroom, but it was clean and tidy (which is unusual), so I figured I’d snap a picture for your viewing pleasure. The whole room is really a mish-mash of things my Roommate and I already had, but it turned out pretty nice for not buying anything new or ‘decorating.’

I didn’t have another pair of nightstands, so there are wooden chairs on either side of the bed with books and lamps. It works quite nicely. Some towels and flowers set out for our guest, and the softest throw blanket ever from Restoration Hardware. I love these blankets. My mom bought me one as a gift, and I all but forced the Roommate to buy one.

The brown ‘canopy’ was in my old bedroom – my mom and I made it for my first bedroom out of college. I still love the loose, linen fabric. It’s even prettier in person. Come stay with me and you’ll find out for yourself!
