I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

I get to hang out with him all weekend. Yay!

I baked … again. It’s a problem. I know. But at least these weren’t for me.

Peanut Butter Dog Treats! I already shared a few with this little bugger:

He went nuts for them. Here’s the recipe:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup skim milk.
Mix it all together. Roll the dough out with a rolling pin, and cut it into whatever shape you like. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until cookies just begin to turn brown.
I used about a 1.5 inch diameter cookie cutter and it made 55 cookies!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
…
well, for now anyway. One of Winston’s favorite things aside from being petted and snacking on people food is chasing birds and squirrels. So to Piedmont Park we went, and Winnie ran around leash-free chasing birds in the dewy grass. After a solid twenty minutes, Winston was tired out and still hadn’t caught a single bird.
He did, however, have four wet, muddy paws, and this meant that somebody needed a bath. I’ll give you a hint: it wasn’t me.

I tried to get some mid-bath shots … optimal word being tried.

After bathtime, Winnie started shivering from the air-conditioning! Poor thing!

So we snuggled up on the couch together. He’s really catching on to this photoshoot thing. He just follows me with his eyes but stays very still. Unfortunately, Winston goes home tomorrow, so you’ll be S.O.L. on the cute puppy pics next week.
I really hope you aren’t tired of photos of my friend, Winston … because I’m not.

Look who really likes watching TV! He also really likes barking at dogs on the TV.

I just can’t stand it. I want to keep him!

Inspired by a few food bloggers I follow, I decided to make tofu last night! I’m not really big on tofu. In fact, I’ve never had tofu that I actually liked; however, these bloggers swear by it, which was enough to convince me to try one more time. Let’s just say it did not go well. My Roommate ate it valiantly, but I settled for cereal for dinner.

It’s been so fun having this little house guest around.

He makes a wonderful workday companion.

I can’t help but take some photos of this cute guy.

I particularly enjoy talking to him like he’s a person; however, I’m certain my neighbors thinking I’ve started talking to myself.
